Data Migration Technical SME is a members of a techno-functional team specialized in implementing and delivering airline operations management solutions / modules as part of the Operations Control suite for various airlines across the world. Data Migration Technical SME will also be the Subject Matter Expert on these solutions and will be involved in training airline analysts on the tools.



•   Leading end-to-end data migration process – getting data from the source systems into client systems, mapping the data, migrating to target systems based on dispositions, etc.

•   Ensuring compliance with regulations, qualifications, and trainings 

•   Minimizing disruptions to operations and integration into customer’s business processes.

•   Works collaboratively in a team environment with project managers, account managers, implementation and development resources to meet customer expectations regarding solution implementation, issue resolution during solution adoption phase, and also resolution of maintenance issues / service requests post production cutover.

•   Will perform data validation checks in the context of Movement Manager solution at all stages of solution migration and delivery

•   Will perform installation of Movement Manager and its associated modules and also ensure integration of Movement Manager with other internal and external third party products

•   Excellent written and verbal communications skills, to serve as lead conduit between developers, architects, designers and with external and internal customers

•   Demonstrates effective teamwork skills. 

•   Operates under general direction with minimal oversight 

•   Ensures that approved methods, processes, and tools are consistently used.

•   Shall mentor/train new business analysts on the solution and processes.



  • 6+ years’ experience working Data Migration
  • Knowledge on integration e.g., SOAP, XML , JSON , Postman
  • Experience on using Microsoft Office esp. Excel (writing Macros is a plus) , PowerPoint
  • Hands on experience/expertise in the Crew Management area – either worked in airline in scheduling, training, tracking or the end-to-end implementation of crew enterprise systems is a plus
  • Advanced computer software skills
  • Requires understanding client-server architectures and the integration with legacy systems.
  • Strong domain knowledge in Airline crew scheduling, flight crew planning, or flight operations is desired
