IT Support Technician- Onsite in Canonsburg, PA

Location: Onsite in Canonsburg, PA

Job Type: Contract to Hire

The A.C Coy company has an immediate need for an IT Support Technician. This individual will provide prompt, efficient IT support to both on-site and remote employees, including the installation, configuration, deployment and support of the company's desktop and laptop computer systems.

• Manage configuration and deployment of all desktop and laptop computers
• Provide support to users (remote and in house)
• Provide support for Microsoft Office software suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Troubleshoot problems reported by users
• Provide tracking of leased desktop and laptop asset inventory.
• Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of direcory services
• Maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of personal computers as well as printers
• Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, phones, personal digital assistants, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches
• Participate in a 24/7 rotating on-call schedule on a monthly basis

• 2+ years providing IT (desktop and software) support to internal employee and customers via phone, remote access, and in person
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• High proficiency with both desktop and laptop operating systems
• Experience with Helpdesk Ticketing systems (HEAT, Remedy, Spiceworks, ZenDESK)
• Experience with interactive meeting technology (WebEx, GoToMeeting, Live Meeting)
• Positive Customer Service approach and attitude

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field
• Experience with mass deployment of software and hardware
• Experience with remote control support tools
• Experience utilizing Windows Deployment Services (WDS) and Windows Server Update Services (WSUS)
