Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end data science process, from problem definition to model deployment.
  • Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and identify data-driven opportunities.
  • Mentor and guide a team of data scientists and analysts in best practices and methodologies.
  • Design and implement data visualization tools to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough data analysis and interpretation to support strategic decision-making.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance existing models and processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Master's or Ph.D. degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in data science, analytics, or related roles, preferably in a financial context.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with SQL for data manipulation.
  • In-depth knowledge of statistical modeling techniques and machine learning algorithms.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and libraries (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn).
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration across diverse teams and presentation of complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
