About the role...

The expansion of our Finance team is well underway, adapting and growing to keep up with Cooper Parry’s rapid business growth.

 

As part of this, we are on the lookout for a Procurement Manager to come and join the team. Someone who will own and manage the end-to-end procurement process. Growth is only going to continue so this role will be vital to ensuring the processes are robust and clearly communicated across the business.

 

Collaborating with various internal departments, the Procurement Manager will play a critical role in identifying, sourcing, reviewing the best products and services with new and existing suppliers required by the business.

 

A day in the life of a Procurement Manager…

 

  • Establish & maintain a robust and comprehensive procurement policy and process, centralising across all offices, looking to improve buying power & establish cost savings
  • Supporting or leading on complex negotiations to optimise overall commercial position
  • Maintaining accurate records of vendors, consultants, and sub-contractors
  • Actively working with the internal Sustainability team and our external suppliers to improve carbon reporting and support the business on its journey to Net Zero
  • Implement initiatives to optimize spend, working capital, streamline processes
  • Drive conversations with stakeholders to increase awareness of cost-saving opportunities
  • Evaluate business opportunities, market trends, and operational efficiencies through commercial analysis, translating data into strategic insights

About you...

You will need to be articulate, able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders aiding to build understanding around the data. You will have…

 

  • Procurement experience essential
  • Ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate large volumes of information with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Innovative and logical approach to identifying and implementing effective solutions
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to navigate through extensive datasets and timelines to extract critical business insights

 

You’ll be a continuous learner, staying abreast of the latest industry trends, and leveraging new tools and techniques to advance the business.
