This role is ideal for an experienced professional looking to lead complex network projects, enhance security infrastructure, and drive the company’s network solutions to the next level.

As a Senior Network Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and securing the company’s network infrastructure. What you’ll do:

• Networking Services: Lead as the primary point of contact for IT-networking services, both for internal projects and client support.

• Implementation & Administration: Take charge of implementing and administering complex network projects for customers, focusing on high-availability systems and secure network architecture.

• Security & Infrastructure: Ensure advanced network security, maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure, and monitor system performance to ensure stability and security.

• Documentation: Develop comprehensive technical documentation for network processes and projects.

• Support: Manage service requests via a ticket system, ensuring high customer satisfaction through responsive and tailored solutions.

• Customer Focus: Understand and anticipate customer needs, delivering bespoke networking solutions that align with their goals.

• Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless operation and continuous improvement of the network infrastructure.

What you’ll have:

• Advanced Firewall Experience: Expertise in managing firewall technologies (particularly Sophos and pfSense).

• Network Security: Deep knowledge of network security management, including high-availability setups and advanced protection protocols.

• Networking Protocols: Proficient in routing/switching, wireless LAN, QOS, 802.1X, dynamic routing protocols, and using network analysis tools like Wireshark.

• Extensive experience in network infrastructure, including routing/switching, firewalling (Sophos, pfSense), and network security.

• In-depth knowledge of network protocols and tools such as QOS, 802.1X, and Wireshark for network analysis.

• Fluent in German (C1); English proficiency is a plus.

• Class B driver’s license required for occasional travel.
