We are looking for a Transition Lead (m/f/d) in Germany (remote) in a permanent position in full time (40hrs./Week) for our growing Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) business unit.

  • Accountable for transition success and primary point of contact for client on global and/or regional projects
  • Responsible for setting and driving transition objectives and performance indicators; work with Program Manager to drive timely completion of all transition milestones
  • Responsible for hand-off to Account Team, assists with Stabilization and occasionally participate in pursuit process, representing qualifications of the GTT Team
  • Support the client pursuit process, including solution and transition strategy development and yellow pads/presentations as needed
  • Lead transition planning efforts post-award prior to Kickoff, including team mobilization
  • Lead the core and extended transition team to ensure all transition commitments are met and delivered in the agreed timeframe following the GTT transition process
  • Manage and strive to control the transition budget, forecast any deviation, and provide required reporting
  • Lead the Go Live strategy and β€œwar room” to ensure successful Day 1
  • Ensure contract obligations are met and transition deliverables are satisfied using the GTT best practices, tools and processes
  • Manage project closeout process including Transition Improvement Process (TIP) completion and operational handoff to account leadership
  • Lead the strategy for asset surveys and technical due diligence. This includes collection, validation and analysis of the asset information, who collects and keeps the data up to date on the account within the CMMS
  • Turns the technical due diligence information into a workable solution, costed and considered for technical delivery of engineering services and maintenance
  • Set the strategy for asset management for the account, including CMMS set up, maintenance strategy (PPM plan, standards, asset structure, lifecycle) incorporating reliability engineering techniques
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase system reliability, scalability, and performance
  • Proactive monitoring- Condition monitoring, predictive analytics hardware and software selection and implementation planning- tooling selection for data mining and analytics
  • Advise on reliability audit processes, standards and policies related to technical compliance and best practise
  • Support commercial teams with suitable models to support offerings
  • Provide strategic direction to the organization in terms of roadmap for reliability engineering, including evaluating new technologies and tools that can improve the reliability and performance of our systems
  • Collaborate with CBRE teams to ensure that our technology platforms are highly available and performing at optimal levels
  • Create and maintain documentation related to the Reliability Engineering department's policies and procedures
  • Participate in incident management, including identifying root causes and developing corrective actions to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future
  • Develop and maintain a culture of continuous improvement, where the reliability of our systems is continually evaluated and improved. Establish KPI’s, targets statistics and benchmarks
  • Manage vendor relationships- develop eco system of partners related to reliability engineering, including negotiating contracts and service level agreements
  • Introduction of DACH guidelines for maintenance specifications and relevant standards and regulations (for example: VDMA, AMEV, manufacturer specifications, DIN-ISO)
    Ensure that operator obligations are introduced and implemented in accordance with national regulations
  • Involvement in associations such as GEFMA and Real FM
  • Lead matrix project team made up account Management and SME's from functions and business for any project type and under any complexity (Demobilization, Transformation, Global & National Projects)
  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Facilities Management, Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum 6 years progressive leadership experience in Facility Services
  • Professional background with systems implementations, mergers/acquisitions, re-engineering or other large/complex projects
  • Deep operational knowledge in complex organizations
  • A willingness to work internationally is desirable
  • Fluent German and English skills
  • Show proactive leadership; guide and lead in the absence of a Sector Transition Leader (STL); knows all transition roles and responsibilities and can execute autonomously
  • An expert in presentation, oral communication and written response
  • A change leader, able to drive improvements across the organization partnering with stakeholder groups across all of GWS
  • Understands impacts and cascade effects of managing time and expenses; understands transition budget developments and how to expertly manage to each established budget
  • Expert at ensuring all scope is accounted for within the transition plan; can proactively develop custom components based off client needs and can lead the development of new components into the standard plan
  • Has relevant management and development functions in the management of support functions with transition, CMMS, processes and QM.
  • Experience in the management of operational FM units with a focus on hard service
  • Expert in the German market with the GEFMA and Real FM guidelines
