The Vice President, North America Sales- Workday is the leader of a Sales division and will ensure that the pipeline is built. They will also manage the Sales team members to help them grow and expand their roles. They will develop relationships with key partner leaders and act as strategic thought leader on deals. The Vice President, North America Sales will work with the company counterparts to increase overall operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively coach and mentor a team of up to 12 sales team members
Develop strategies to increase business for target account regions
Create and develop prospecting strategies to increase net new business
Maintain a 12-month rolling pipeline of business
Effectively position Cognizant and its services against competitors both within the Workday ecosystem and externally
Ensure margin adherence and drive proper deal qualification
·Drive collaboration between all internal groups to deliver on sales quotas
Drive License sale add-ons for all our partner companies
Be executive sponsor on internal initiatives to improve company performance
Cultivate mutually beneficial relationships with Workday Regional Management
Maintain accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast data
Ensure data quality compliance for team members
Always Maintain and manage a quota for your respective region and have 3X pipeline
Drive adherence to internal process
Provide onsite support to the sales team to help close large deals and align with customer leadership
Provide thought leadership for corporate improvements and continuous process evolution
Skills and Requirements:
10+ years of experience as a manager in a fast-paced implementation services sales environment
Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to present to all organization levels
Ability to work with customer and internal team members to estimate services needs
Ability to understand and effectively communicate the benefits of an on-demand/web services architecture
Proven ability in managing complex sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful revenue attainment
Familiarity with consultative selling methodologies
Experience with Excel, Word and PowerPoint as well as using SaaS applications
Ability to travel 50 to 75% to customer and workday locations for effective relationship development
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
