Animator Bardel is looking for Intermediate level Animators for our 3D Animated Featurette. We are looking for strong performance and acting skills and animators that work collaboratively, helping to shape character performances. We will be focused in on acting and comedy. Start date: January 2026 What You’ll Do Bring characters and objects to life through compelling animation that aligns with the project’s creative vision. Collaborate with the Animation Supervisor/leads to refine performance, timing, and movement in scenes. Interpret storyboards and animatics into fully realized animation, adding nuance and personality to characters. Ensure consistency in style and quality across all assigned shots, adhering to the established animation guidelines. Collaborate with leadership, production, and team members to solve problems and share insights. Engage in dailies, rounds, and team discussions to contribute to creative and technical improvements. Adhere to pipeline workflows and technical requirements for seamless integration into the production process. Maintain consistency in quality while meeting production needs. Manage time effectively, working with production to stay on schedule. Keep the team and production staff informed about progress, challenges, and solutions. What You’ll Bring Experience Previous production experience as an Animator (or similar) in TV series or featurette animation. Strong understanding of animation principles, timing, and acting for animation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively promote solutions, share knowledge, and incorporate feedback. Strong time management skills Portfolio Requirements

A portfolio that demonstrates:

A range of character animation showcasing strong performance and acting skills

• Strong grasp of weight, timing/spacing, and appeal in animation performance.
• Ability to animate cartoony/stylized characters
• Clear understanding of storytelling through animation.
• Pay Range: CAD $1200 - $1400 per week

This salary range reflects our current expectations for these roles as of this posting’s date. Your final salary offer will consider various key factors, including your education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographical location, as well as the needs and requirements of the business.
