    About the Team The Financial Services Sales team is dedicated to building relationships and driving sales with hedge funds, asset management firms, investment banks, and private equity firms. We engage with all levels within these organizations, from Junior Analysts and Portfolio Managers to Directors of Research and Heads of Equities. Our specialists understand the unique needs and challenges of the financial services industry and excel at delivering tailored solutions. With a highly tenured team, we bring extensive experience and deep industry knowledge, ensuring our clients receive expert guidance and support.

    About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious new business sales professional to join our expanding Financial Services Sales team, specializing in Financial Markets. This role offers the chance to join a fast-growing company and drive sales of our acclaimed product, which is gaining rapid global traction. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our company's growth and future achievements. We are open to the position being remote/Hybrid.

    Who You Are ● Accomplished Sales Professional: You have 4+ years of SaaS sales experience, excelling in value-based, consultative roles, with a focus on Financial Services. You ideally engage end-user personas like Analysts, Associates, and Portfolio Managers, thriving in a hunter role and consistently exceeding high quotas. ● Resilient and Driven: You thrive in a startup environment, managing competing priorities with a never give up’ attitude. Your work ethic, initiative, and commitment set the standard for others. ● Curious and Coachable: You uncover business challenges at all organizational levels, welcome feedback, and seek constant improvement through AlphaSense's training programs. ● Technical Sales Expert: You leverage modern sales processes and tech stacks, excel in conducting technical demos, and manage multiple trials. ● Strong Communicator: You skillfully convey the value of our AI-driven insights, ensuring stakeholders across diverse audiences understand the transformative impact of our solutions on their business operations and strategic decision-making processes. ● Industry Proficient: You understand the Financial Services landscape, recognizing client challenges on both the buy-side and sell-side.

    What You’ll Do:

    ● Own the end-to-end sales process in your territory, focusing on hedge funds, asset managers, investment banks, and sell-side research departments. ● Collaborate with Sales Development representatives to research, prospect, and cultivate relationships using consultative selling, uncovering new business opportunities. ● Deliver compelling product demonstrations that address client needs and highlight AlphaSense’s value propositions. ● Manage complete product trials in collaboration with Product Specialists to ensure smooth client adoption and conversion. ● Drive towards ambitious sales targets by precisely forecasting and maintaining a robust pipeline to consistently meet or exceed quotas. ● Facilitate communication between clients, prospects, and internal teams, gathering feedback to drive product improvements and strategic sales initiatives.
