We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant to manage and improve our financial operations. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, identifying process improvements, and supporting leadership with financial insights. The position begins part-time, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role as the business continues to grow.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks.
    • Reconcile accounts, review transactions, and ensure all financial data is complete and accurate.
    • Collaborate across departments (operations, leadership, etc.) to resolve discrepancies and gather relevant financial information.
    • Analyze financial data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for process improvement.
    • Prepare and review key financial reports including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.

3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in startups or small business environments.

    Proficiency with QuickBooks is required.

Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proactive and resourceful mindset — able to identify issues and take initiative to resolve them.

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Practical thinker who can adapt to change and implement efficient processes.

Experience identifying and executing cost-saving or process-improvement initiatives.

Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP preferred but not required.

Fluent in English or Spanish (Spanish-speaking candidates from Latin America are encouraged to apply).
