Summary The Accountant role at Radiant is part of the analytical engine of the company providing insights to support optimal business decision making. The Accountant role has shared and direct responsibility for the day-to-day accounting function of the company. As an Accountant you are comfortable in data-rich environments, possess the ability to deliver accurate financial information and analysis under ambiguous conditions, respond positively to changing business needs, and take pride in accuracy as part of being a trusted partner.
Support accounts payable processes, including Docuphase AP automation and ExpensePoint expense reporting platform system maintenance, invoice verification, payment processing, and vendor communication. Track and maintain fixed assets using the ERP system, ensuring accurate records and compliance with company policies. Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement solutions to streamline accounting operations and boost efficiency. Perform regular audits to ensure data integrity and accuracy, leveraging advanced auditing techniques and tools. Work closely with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities, providing technical expertise and insights. Monitor and reconcile applicable general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies promptly. Provide comprehensive support during internal and external audits, preparing necessary documentation and addressing auditor inquiries. Keep informed of industry trends and best practices in accounting and financial reporting, continuously enhancing technical knowledge and skills. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or high-tech environment. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics GP, SAP) and AP automation Strong desktop computer skills; intermediate proficiency in Excel functions for analytical reporting. (Pivot tables, XLOOKUP function, IF statements, etc.) Strong understanding of accrual-based accounting and familiarity with IFRS/GAAP reporting standards. Experience with automating accounting processes and implementing new technologies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent time management and organizational skills Prior experience with payroll is a plus.
