Corporate Secretary: Automating the company incorporation, secretarial, filing, Nominee Director, mailroom and immigration processes via custom online robots and SleekSign. We are the market leaders in Singapore with ~5% market share of all new business incorporations Accounting & Bookkeeping: Redefining what it means to do Accounting, Bookkeeping, Tax and Payroll thanks to our proprietary SleekBooks ledger, AI tools and exceptional customer service FinTech payments: Overcoming a key challenge for Entrepreneurs by offering digital banking services to new businesses Sleek launched in 2017 and now has around 15,000 customers across our offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia and the UK. We have around 500 staff with an intact startup mindset. We have recently raised Series B financing off the back of >70% compound annual growth in Revenue over the last 5 years. Sleek has been recognised by The Financial Times, The Straits Times, Forbes and LinkedIn as one of the fastest growing companies in Asia. Backed by world-class investors, we are on track to be one of the few cash flow positive, tech-enabled unicorns based out of Singapore. We are now searching for an Accountant based in India to support our growing Accounting Team in the United Kingdom, remotely. Mission: Deliver high quality accounting services to a portfolio of clients in the UK.

Outcomes:

Support the Client Manager/ Accounting Manager to deliver high quality accounting services to a portfolio of UK SME clients including bank reconciliations, fixed assets, register, raising journals and preparing financial reports Preparing Unaudited Financial Statements, VAT quarterly submissions, and payroll support for clients Understand and adhere to UK financial regulations and legislation Work with internal stakeholders and third-party consultants on specifications

To do this you will have:

Recognised degree/diploma in Accountancy At least 3 years of UK Accounting experience Experience managing a portfolio of clients Good understanding of IFRS and regulatory compliance Highly proficient in Excel, Xero, Dext and Quickbooks, additional software advantageous

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail, proactive and self driven, good interpersonal and communication skills and English fluency.

For you to excel, you’ll need to be present in your calls and make sure you properly receive and thoughtfully send messages to others in the business.

About the Interview process:

Introductory call

• A ~30 minute video call with a member of our HR team to discuss your application and get a better understanding of your experience and expectations for the role.
• Project or case study or Competency Based Interview
• A ~60 minute interview with a Team Lead / Sr. Accounting Manager- here we will assess your competencies, skills and experience

Career Deep Dive

• A ~45 minute discussion with the UK Country Head focusing on your last couple of roles to understand your experience in more detail
• Behavioural fit assessment
• A ~45 minute chat, usually with a member of HR or the leadership team

Reference interviews We’ll have 2-3 short phone or video calls with references that you provide to us So as to not delay your offer, we may ask your permission to have these calls earlier on in the interview process Requirement for background screening Please be aware that Sleek is a regulated entity and as such is required to perform different levels of background checks on staff depending on their role.
