The Accounting Manager oversees the accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial reporting, budgeting, payroll, and tax obligations. This role is pivotal in managing the month-end close process and providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
Month End Close
Financials
Payroll Validate payroll bimonthly before finalized. Post payroll journal entries. Confirm HSA reconciliation. Sales and Use Tax Research sales and use tax in new states. Remit sales and use taxes monthly/quarterly/as due. Maintain tax tracker. Collection exemption certificates, as needed. Intacct Project/vendor/customer/new user setup. Maintain Intacct configurations. Create various Intacct reports for analysis.
