    Utah Orthopaedics is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Appointment Setter to join our dynamic team. As an Appointment Setter, you will play a critical role in ensuring our patients have seamless access to our exceptional orthopedic services. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively manage appointment schedules, coordinate with medical staff, and enhance the overall patient experience. You will be the first point of contact for patients seeking care, making your role vital in setting a positive tone for their experience. Your ability to listen to patients' needs, discuss their circumstances professionally, and provide accurate information will be key to boosting our appointment rates and optimizing our clinic's operations.     Responsibilities Manage incoming calls and inquiries from patients seeking appointments. Schedule and confirm appointments for new and returning patients effectively. Communicate clearly and professionally with patients and medical staff. Maintain accurate patient records and update appointment details as necessary. Follow up with patients to remind them of upcoming appointments and address any concerns. Assist in generating appointment reports for management review. Collaborate with the administrative team to ensure efficient office operations. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus. Proven experience in a similar role or customer service position preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in office software and scheduling tools. Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient interactions.
