Automation QA Engineer

Trinetix is looking for a Middle Automation QA Engineer. You’ll be part of a dynamic, international team working on large-scale enterprise platforms for a leading U.S.-based client in the consulting and financial services sector. Requirements 2.5+ years of QA experience, including manual and automation testing. Hands-on experience with end-to-end test automation using Playwright (TypeScript). Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, principles, and frameworks. Proficiency with task tracking and test management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar). Knowledge of software architecture, including client-server, web applications, and APIs. Familiarity with browsers’ capabilities and limitations. Ability to analyze requirements, identify potential issues, and design effective test cases. Knowledge of test activities estimation techniques. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Meticulous attention to detail with a strong focus on quality. Upper-Intermediate English (spoken and written). Nice-to-haves Experience with API test automation Working knowledge of SQL Experience with Tricentis Tosca or other no-code automation tools Familiarity with automation in large-scale or enterprise environments ISTQB certification Previous experience in Agile/Scrum teams Core Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain E2E automated test flows. Develop comprehensive manual test plans and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements. Execute test cases manually and via automation; analyze results and report defects. Track and manage defects through the lifecycle, coordinating with development teams. Prepare detailed test reports summarizing results. Contribute to reusable, scalable automation strategies and continuous QA process improvements. Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and methodologies. Communicate effectively with stakeholders across multiple teams and projects.
