Bookkeeper (API integration)

Job Description We’re seeking a detail-oriented bookkeeper to manage the financial operations of a growing international hospitality business during a critical transformation phase. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial tracking as the business works to dramatically increase occupancy rates and achieve profitability targets. Responsibilities Manage QuickBooks integration with Squarespace and Hostaway booking platforms Perform manual data entry and reconciliation when API integrations require troubleshooting Accurately tag and categorize expenses for hospitality business operations across US and Panama locations Handle monthly financial drawdowns and comprehensive reporting Maintain precise records for both domestic and international business activities Support critical financial tracking during lease-to-buy evaluation period Ensure compliance with accounting standards for hospitality industry operations Requirements Proven proficiency in QuickBooks software with hands-on experience Experience troubleshooting API integrations and resolving technical accounting issues Understanding of hospitality or short-term rental accounting principles preferred Exceptional attention to detail for expense categorization and financial reconciliation Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment Experience with international business transactions strongly preferred Strong communication skills for coordinating with US-based team managing Panama operations Independent Contractor Perks Permanent work from home Immediate hiring
