Business Analyst

We currently have a vacancy for a Business Analyst fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site Your tasks Analyze and interpret business requirements; Document detailed business requirements and specifications; Conduct business model assessments to support strategic decision-making; Perform end-to-end business process analysis; Model and optimize business processes using industry-standard methodologies; Analyze functional requirements and develop clear, structured business cases; Identify, assess, and document project and process risks; Contribute to the creation of Business Cases, Vision Documents, Project Charters, and Security Plans. University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in IT; At least 3 years of experience with requirement elicitation, business model analysis, modelling; At least 3 years of experience with BPMN and/or UML; At least 2 years of experience with design of mockups and wireframes with tools like Balsamic; At least 2 years of experience in the design of conceptual data model; At least 2 years of experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence; Good knowledge of information systems matters; Good knowledge of large organisation administrative business processes; Good knowledge of Wiki and collaborative sites; Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g. RUP, Agile); The following certifications would be considered as assets: Business Analyst – BABOK, PM2 Methodology; Excellent command of the English language.
