The Business Planning & Performance Management Director is responsible for leading the company’s financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical activities. This role provides critical insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making and optimize financial performance. Responsibilities Budgeting & Forecasting Lead the annual budgeting process and develop financial forecasts. Collaborate with department heads to consolidate and refine budget inputs. Monitor variances and provide actionable insights on performance versus plan. Financial Analysis Analyze business trends, financial results, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports and executive presentations. Conduct scenario modeling, ROI analysis, and profitability assessments. Strategic Planning Partner with leadership to evaluate business initiatives, investments, and cost-saving opportunities. Provide financial modeling and decision support for strategic projects. Contribute to long-term business and financial strategy development. Reporting Develop dashboards and visualizations for financial and operational performance. Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of financial data. Support board reporting and investor communications as needed. Process Improvement Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve accuracy. Implement best practices in planning, reporting, and data management. Support system implementations or upgrades related to finance tools. Advanced Excel and financial modeling expertise. Proficiency with financial systems (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Hyperion, or similar). Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills. Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leaders. The projected compensation range for the position may vary based on these factors and could range from $165,000 to $175,000 (annualized USD).
