About the Role
As one of Prosper’s first Care Concierge, you’ll be on the front lines of delivering compassionate, high-quality support to our members as they navigate their healthcare journey. You’ll be responsible for responding to calls, emails, and mobile messages with empathy and clarity, helping members access the care they need and feel truly supported along the way. This is an exciting opportunity to join an early-stage, mission-driven team and play a critical role in shaping how our members experience care. You’ll work closely with our clinical, operations, and product teams to ensure each interaction is thoughtful, efficient, and deeply human.
Note: This is a full-time, hourly position that includes some weekend shifts as part of a rotating schedule. Spanish fluency is a plus, but not required.
What You’ll Do
Be the first point of contact for Prosper members via phone, email, and chat—offering empathetic, timely, and accurate support Help members navigate common healthcare issues, including scheduling, benefits questions, provider searches, and next-step guidance Proactively listen to members’ needs and concerns, ensuring each interaction feels personal and understood Maintain the highest level of data privacy and HIPAA compliance in all communications Document each interaction clearly and completely, ensuring follow-through on open issues and member satisfaction Escalate complex issues appropriately to clinical or operations leadership while maintaining ownership of follow-up Collaborate with teammates to spot trends in member feedback and continuously improve the member experience Support special projects and process improvements as we grow and evolve our service offering
What We’re Looking For
1–3 years of experience in customer support, healthcare services, or a related field A passion for helping people and a natural ability to communicate with warmth, clarity, and empathy Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially when managing multiple conversations and follow-ups Excellent written and verbal communication skills Spanish fluency is a strong plus Tech-savvy and comfortable using support platforms, chat tools, and documentation systems Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a remote team A “no job too small” mindset and a team-first attitude Willingness to work some weekend shifts as part of a rotating schedule Experience in healthcare, health tech, or insurance is a plus, but not required
