Casual Registered Nurse - Remote Working

We are proud of our dynamic work environment and an equally diverse workforce. We are on the lookout for a passionate Registered Nurse to join our National Clinical Services team. This remote working role will enable us to continue providing top quality services and provide best of life care to our residents. The key purpose of the this remote Registered Nurse role is to provide online/video and phone remote clinical support to facility employees (primarily Caregivers or Registered Nurses). The role will be a casual role providing coverage across morning, afternoon or night shifts.

About our role:

As a registered nurse in the NCS team you will provide remote clinical support to care teams. Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Provide timely, high quality clinical recomendations grounded in evidence based practice.
• Effectively communicates assessment findings and provides advice to the in-centre team
• Provides input into a resident care plans in collaboration with the in-centre team.
• Use technology, including Microsoft Teams and electronic resident management systems confidently
• Delivers coaching to the targeted care team members inorder to ensure high quality management of resident care .

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

• New Zealand Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practicing Certificate.
• Minimum three years’ experience in settings relevant to older people and aged residential care.
• Be available to work on a rostered and rotating shift pattern (including mornings, afternoon and weekends).
• A dedicated workspace and a stable internet connection

*Please note this role can be based from anywhere in NZ - Ideally nearby to one of our Summerset Villages.
