Responsibilities Lead the implementation and optimization of civil engineering software, tools, and data workflows across projects. Support project teams in leveraging technology to enhance design, modeling, analysis, and documentation processes. Develop and maintain firm-wide standards, best practices, and guidelines for civil design technology. Evaluate emerging technologies, including BIM, automation, GIS, AI, and data-driven tools, recommending strategic adoption for civil workflows. Facilitate training, mentoring, and support to ensure consistent and effective use of technology across the civil practice. Collaborate with project teams to identify and solve technology-related challenges in design, production, and coordination. Monitor technology performance and data usage to improve project efficiency and quality. Serve as the point of contact for technology-related initiatives, updates, and cross-departmental integration. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field; advanced degree a plus. 5+ years of experience in civil engineering technology, BIM/CAD management, or related AEC technology roles. Strong knowledge of civil design software, modeling tools, GIS, and data management platforms. Proven ability to implement technology solutions that improve workflows and project outcomes.
