Cloud Network Architect (m/f/d)

As a Cloud Network Architect, you will design, implement, and secure network architectures across multiple cloud environments, enabling scalable, reliable, and compliant digital infrastructures. You will work closely with DevOps teams to automate deployments, establish secure connectivity between cloud and on-premises systems, and optimize network performance. This role involves hands-on configuration of cloud security solutions, infrastructure-as-code management, and participation in pre-sales or proof-of-concept projects. You will have the opportunity to influence network strategy, provide guidance on best practices, and ensure compliance with security standards. Accountabilities:

· Design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures across cloud environments such as Azure and GCP. · Develop and manage Terraform templates and guidelines for automated network and security deployments. · Configure, deploy, and maintain CheckPoint security solutions to protect workloads. · Establish secure connectivity between cloud and on-premises systems, including VPNs, ExpressRoute, and Interconnect solutions. · Design and implement secure transit paths between multiple cloud providers and document network topologies and security implementations. · Participate in proof-of-concepts, presales, and troubleshooting sessions while supporting colleagues in a collaborative team environment. · Stay up-to-date with latest cloud provider updates, best practices, and emerging network security technologies. · 5+ years of experience in network engineering and security. · 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure and/or GCP cloud platforms. · Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure automation. · Experience with CheckPoint security products and implementations. · Strong knowledge of network protocols such as BGP and IPSEC. · Proven experience designing secure network architectures and understanding compliance frameworks (SOC 2, NIST, ISO 27001). · Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills. · Business-fluent in German and English. · Desirable: Certifications (Azure Security Engineer, GCP Cloud Security Engineer, CheckPoint CCSA/CCSE, Terraform Associate), scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash), experience with SIEM tools, micro-segmentation, or zero-trust architectures. · 30 days of vacation and company-funded accident insurance. · Internal and external training programs for continuous professional development. · Participation in the company’s employee share program. · Modern office spaces with high-tech equipment and sports programs. · Corporate benefits portal with free fruit and drinks. · Flat hierarchies and opportunities for innovation, creativity, and career growth. · Long-term, stable employment in a high-growth, collaborative environment.
