This role focuses on supporting content development across multiple formats—student content, instructor ancillaries, and presentation assets. You will act as a critical-thinking partner, reviewing, enhancing, organizing, and transforming draft curriculum content into polished instructional materials. Your responsibilities include creating PowerPoint decks, instructor resource manuals, reflection questions, assessments, and well-designed layout templates. The ideal candidate has excellent English skills, strong analytical thinking, instructional creativity, and the ability to transform raw or draft content into clear, engaging, learner-centered materials. Identify redundancy, gaps, and logical flow issues and recommend solutions. Create Instructional Ancillaries Draft high-quality reflection questions, discussion prompts, checkpoints, and short assessments that promote meaningful, deeper-level thinking. Create instructor-facing materials, including Instructor Resource Manuals, Lesson Plans, Teaching Notes, and Facilitation Guides. Develop polished PowerPoint decks for each module. Receive constructive feedback on drafts and revise materials promptly and thoughtfully to align with project standards and expectations. Create answer keys, sample responses, or instructor notes where applicable. Transform dense content into learner-friendly formats (charts, checklists, tables, or visuals). Content Organization & Structure Organize documents, drafts, and module assets in a clear and logical system. Track versions and maintain high standards of document hygiene. Assist in pacing guides, content maps, and structure layouts for multi-part modules. Maintain consistent file-naming conventions and an organized folder structure. Prepare clearly organized content packets for developer handoff. Visual & Layout Design Support Create clean, attractive layouts for workbooks, printable resources, and instructor manuals. Suggest visual and structural improvements for how content could appear on the digital platform. Provide UX-informed suggestions to help developers create intuitive, modern learning experiences. Prepare print- or platform-ready materials in accordance with brand guidelines. Recommend appropriate icons, imagery, or visual elements to enhance clarity and engagement. Collaboration & Communication Meet regularly with the Director for updates, review sessions, and feedback. Maintain clear documentation of completed work and upcoming tasks. Manage priorities and deadlines in a fast-moving, multi-module project. Communicate proactively when clarification or guidance is needed. Flag timeline concerns early and adjust work plans as required. Required Qualifications Exceptional English proficiency (written and verbal). Experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or education, with a strong track record of creating teacher guides, student learning materials, instructional ancillaries, and PowerPoint decks. Familiarity with adult learning, competency-based education, or workforce development. Strong critical thinking and the ability to analyze content for accuracy, depth, and clarity. Ability to write meaningful, reflective questions that support deeper learning. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while accepting feedback and direction. Comfortable handling large amounts of content and multiple simultaneous modules. Ability to break down complex ideas into clear, digestible instructional materials. Demonstrate problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity. Preferred Qualifications Experience designing layouts for print or digital learner guides (InDesign, Canva, or similar). Basic understanding of UX/UI principles and the ability to suggest improvements for learner experience. Experience editing or copyediting educational materials for clarity, consistency, and tone. Familiarity with visual hierarchy, typography, and clean layout principles for instructional documents. Experience collaborating with developers, designers, or multimedia teams on content presentation. Knowledge of accessibility best practices (e.g., document formatting, contrast, alt text). Comfort reviewing or working within a style guide to ensure consistency across modules. Experience with project management tools (e.g., Smart Sheet) to track tasks and versions. Background in teaching, training, tutoring, or facilitating adult learners (even informally). Light graphic design ability (icons, simple diagrams, slide enhancements).
