    Job Description

    Position Summary Join Power TakeOff's innovative Virtual Commissioning® (VCx®) Program as a Customer Outreach Specialist. Through email and phone calls, you will reach out to numerous prospective customers, establishing contact and scheduling virtual meetings between the customer and a Power TakeOff Energy Advisor, who will further assist the customers to implement energy savings opportunities.

    Key Responsibilities Training Program Participation and Knowledge Retention Participates in in-depth training on outreach competencies and energy efficiency basics Follows established playbooks and seeks help for issues outside of their experience Completes accurate documentation and follows program processes consistently Demonstrates reliable and consistent organization and time management practices Cold Calling & Client Relationship Management Conducts cold outreach to build a viable sales pipelines Participates in contact findings and re-prospecting to maintain a robust pipeline Builds positive relationships with customers, adapting to their approach and needs Develops consistency in follow-ups and account organization Team Engagement Partner with internal teams to support one another’s success and customer satisfaction Participates in team discussions and helps build a positive team environment Demonstrates reliability and accountability for their work, proactively asking for help Participates actively in team meetings and discussions Demonstrates persistence and resiliency in the face of challenges Adapts to change professionally and effectively Consistently utilizes professional and persuasive communication Key Qualifications 1+ year of professional experience in a customer service representative (CSR) or similar role with cold outreach responsibilities preferred Motivation to engage with with prospective customers via cold calls, emails and meetings Ability to identify and address real or perceived barriers and articulate benefits to customers to promote their participation Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in a remote team environment, offering support and willingness to receive and provide feedback to achieve shared goals Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and colleagues Consistently positive and professional communications, even under pressure Effective sales skills and motivation to achieve goals Self-motivated with a strong work ethic Ability to use and learn customer relationship management (CRM) systems (e.g. Salesforce, Outreach.io) and other software tools to effectively organize and manage a customer engagement pipeline and support tracking and reporting Excellent organization, record-keeping and time management skills Bilingual abilities are a plus Location and Travel Power TakeOff is a 100% virtual company with no physical office location. However, many employees are based in two hubs in the areas around Denver, CO and Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario. Residence in one of these two hubs is desired but not required, and relocation assistance will not be provided for the position. This position is eligible for employment in the United States. Travel is not expected for this position. Power TakeOff will cover the associated accommodation and travel expenses for any company travel. Compensation and Benefits The total expected salary compensation for employees residing in the U.S. is $19.23 per hour ($40,000 USD per year). This position is also eligible for a performance-based bonus plan.
