This role is ideal for a data-driven professional who enjoys transforming raw information into actionable insights. The Data Analyst will collaborate across departments to understand business needs, design and maintain reports, and provide analytics that support strategic decision-making. Working remotely, you will analyze trends, develop dashboards, and troubleshoot data integrity issues to ensure accurate and efficient reporting. This position provides exposure to enterprise reporting tools, self-service analytics, and regulatory reporting requirements, allowing you to directly impact organizational effectiveness. Success in this role comes from strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex data clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Accountabilities · Collaborate with departments to gather requirements, design, and develop data-driven solutions and reports. · Analyze data to identify trends, correlations, and insights to support decision-making and process improvement. · Create, maintain, and troubleshoot reports and dashboards using tools such as Tableau and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). · Ensure data integrity, troubleshoot discrepancies, and enforce consistent business rules across integrated systems. · Assist with external reporting and regulatory submissions, including IPEDS, NCAA, HLC, and national rankings surveys. · Empower business users through self-service reporting solutions and data visualization best practices. · Maintain documentation and technical summaries for reporting systems, dashboards, and analyses. · Adapt to changing priorities and support projects with flexibility, including occasional irregular hours. · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Business Analysis, or equivalent experience (3–5 years). · 2–5 years of experience building reports and dashboards using Tableau, SSRS, or similar enterprise reporting tools. · Knowledge of star-schema data modeling and ability to write complex queries and stored procedures in MS SQL Server. · Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. · Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills to build rapport with stakeholders. · Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work outside of normal business hours as needed. · Strong attention to detail and a positive, proactive approach in a fast-paced environment. · Legal authorization to work in the U.S. and ability to perform all work remotely within the country. · Competitive salary range: $55,000 – $65,000 annually. · Comprehensive healthcare and voluntary benefits offerings. · Generous paid time off and holidays. · Matching 403(b) retirement plan. · Tuition waiver program and professional development opportunities. · Remote work flexibility with occasional engagement as needed.
