The Data Engineer will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines that support innovative applications in higher education and research. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including backend developers, UX researchers, product managers, and subject-matter experts to ensure reliable data ingestion, validation, and analytics. This role offers the opportunity to influence product features, improve data workflows, and contribute to projects with real-world impact on students, educators, and institutional partners. You will leverage modern cloud-based data platforms and analytics solutions to combine multiple datasets into actionable insights while adhering to best practices for data quality and integrity. 2–3 years of experience building robust data ingestion and validation pipelines feeding relational databases such as Postgres, MySQL, or Oracle.
