The Director of Faculty Development is responsible for planning, managing, and administering professional and faculty development functions for the universities that are part of the American InterContinental University System (AIUS).
This person will be responsible for all aspects of professional development and training initiatives for faculty including but not limited to orienting faculty on effective instructional methods and techniques for online, blended, and face to face delivery; the development, delivery, and evaluation of faculty orientation and in-services; the management and documentation of faculty development activities; and collaborating on standards for faculty performance in the classroom.
The Director works closely with the faculty supervisors, academic program chairs/deans and all instructional faculty members in order to maintain exceptional quality in course delivery, student learning, and student retention. The Director drives excellence in all aspects of teaching and learning across the university system.

implement solutions for LMS, adaptive technology, and mobile apps (as applicable); Recommend improvements based on student and faculty experience, online and blended pedagogy, instructional best practices, and curriculum needs. Create trainings and resources to launch new tools and inititiaves.
