Role Summary:

The Director of Finance will be a pivotal leader responsible for overseeing all financial activities, including financial planning and analysis (FP&A), accounting, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will bring significant, large-scale experience from the Egyptian banking sector and possess deep, practical knowledge of Loan Management Systems (LMS). This role is a key strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO.

Key responsibilities:

Lead Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Direct the annual budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and variance analysis processes to provide actionable insights to executive leadership and drive profitable growth. Ensure LMS Financial Integrity: Oversee and manage the financial data, reporting, and accounting processes directly related to the Loan Management System (LMS) to ensure accuracy and compliance throughout the loan lifecycle. Strategic Financial Management: Develop and implement financial strategies, manage cash flow, and optimize capital structure and working capital to support the company’s expansion and operational goals. Oversee Compliance & Controls: Ensure strict adherence to all local regulatory requirements, manage internal controls, and coordinate external audit processes and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in finance roles, with significant leadership experience.
• Sector Background: Mandatory senior-level experience (e.g., Head or Director level) within one of the large banks in Egypt.
• Specialized Experience: Deep, proven experience with the financial modules, reporting, and accounting aspects of a Loan Management System (LMS) is essential.
• FP&A Expertise: Several years of direct, hands-on experience leading and managing the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function.
• Certification: Must possess a globally recognized professional certificate such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst).
