Director of Software Development (Remote - US)

We are seeking a Director of Software Development to lead and expand an Enterprise Solutions Engineering team. In this role, you will shape technical strategy, guide software architecture, and drive scalable solutions that meet evolving business and client needs. You will mentor and inspire engineers and technical leads, oversee integrations with internal and third-party platforms, and ensure alignment with performance, security, and compliance standards. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will influence the design and delivery of client-focused enterprise solutions while fostering a culture of quality, agility, and innovation. Accountabilities:

• Lead and mentor software engineers and technical leads across multiple projects.
• Define and execute the technical roadmap for enterprise solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with product, implementation, and client success teams to deliver client-focused solutions.
• Oversee integrations with third-party platforms and internal systems.
• Drive agile development practices, code quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage resource planning, hiring, and professional development within the engineering team.
• Provide technical leadership in architecture, design reviews, and strategic planning.
• Ensure alignment with compliance, data privacy, and security standards.

10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

• Proven success managing enterprise-grade software projects and engineering teams.

Strong expertise in system architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.), and modern development frameworks. Experience with integration platforms, APIs, and enterprise data workflows. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Preferred: prior experience in healthcare, workforce management, or enterprise SaaS; experience with DCI or similar platforms; experience leading client-facing engineering projects.
