BigPanda is seeking an organized, reliable, and proactive Engineer, Finance Systems & Processes, with attention to detail, to join our team. As a key member of our growing CFO organization, our Engineer, Finance Systems & Processes will own our finance tech stack and processes and assist in driving process changes & automation to help us scale as we grow as an organization. This full-time position reports to our Corporate Controller. The Finance team is based out of our Redwood City headquarters, but the team is flexible and works mostly remotely.
Oversee the systems portfolio and implementation lifecycle: prioritize key initiatives, scope technical requirements, and partner cross-functionally to design, implement, document, and roll out changes to our tech stack. Lead the design and execution of the CFO team’s AI strategy, evaluating, selecting, and implementing AI-powered tools (e.g., forecasting, backoffice automation, reconciliations, reporting) and integrating them into finance workflows. Partner with the People/HR team to support and optimize HR-related tools (e.g., HRIS, compensation planning), ensuring clean integrations with finance systems and scalable processes for headcount and cost planning. Act as the principal administrator and technical SME for finance systems, including configurations (fields, workflows, reports, dashboards, integrations), vendor and SI management, and major implementation/enhancement projects. Ensure strong governance and internal control compliance across finance systems, including access and change management, IT-dependent controls, and the integrity of system-generated reports—all while wearing many hats from project manager to systems architect to QA analyst.
5+ years of experience in finance/business systems. 3+ years of experience with Netsuite (ideal experience as a solution architect or developer).

Market competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range of $148,000 - $168,000.
