Enterprise Senior Accountant - Remote (India-based)

In this role, you will manage day-to-day accounting and finance operations for enterprise clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. You will work with cloud-based accounting and payroll systems to handle transactional duties, including invoicing, bill payments, payroll, reconciliations, and journal entries. Collaborating closely with senior staff and cross-functional teams, you will support financial reporting for clients, including PE and VC-funded companies, while maintaining high standards of precision and data integrity. Accountabilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations for enterprise clients, including transaction entry, invoicing, bill payments, payroll preparation, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Maintain financial data integrity and compliance with US accounting standards across multiple clients and industries.
• Prepare financial reports and analyses, interpreting large datasets into actionable insights for senior staff and clients.
• Assist in audits and ensure adherence to regulatory and internal policies.
• Organize and prioritize work across multiple clients using practice management tools and internal systems.
• Collaborate with team members and occasionally interact with clients to clarify financial information or requests.
• Continuously improve processes and adopt best practices to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA/CAS experience is a strong plus.

2+ years of experience managing accounting, payroll, and financial operations for US-based clients in a multi-client environment.

• Proficiency in cloud accounting platforms such as NetSuite, SAGE, Intacct, QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, Gusto, or similar.
• Experience with PE or VC-funded portfolio companies preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and integrity.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, distributed team.
• Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize work, and adapt to fluctuating workloads.
