Financial Reporting Associate

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Associate to join our Finance team and play a key role in driving our financial strategy and operational excellence. What you will be doing Prepare and analyze monthly management accounts. Coordinate with external auditors to support the year end audit process. Develop and maintain financial models to support business projections. Provide input into strategic planning, decision-making, and performance improvement initiatives. Preparation of IFRS 17 Financial statements. Monitor, analyze, and report on budgets, variances, and key financial drivers. Lead and manage special projects as assigned by management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and efficiency. Prepare clear, insightful reports and presentations for management and stakeholders. What we are looking for ACA qualified accountant (or equivalent), ideally from a Big 4 firm. Solid working knowledge of IFRS 17 and its implications for insurance accounting. Demonstrable experience in the general insurance sector. Strong experience in management accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting. Proven ability to prepare accurate financial projections and analytical reports. Excellent project management and organisational skills. Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial colleagues. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
