
At PlayByPoint, we’re building the digital backbone for sports clubs across LATAM. We are looking for a Functional QA Engineer who can ensure the quality and reliability of our mobile (iOS/Android) and web products in a fast-paced, agile environment. We value people who are analytical, detail-driven, autonomous, and proactive, with strong judgment and clear communication.
What You’ll Do Execute functional tests for mobile (iOS/Android) and web applications. Design, document, and run test cases, test suites, and regression cycles. Perform API testing using Postman or Swagger (endpoints, payloads, response codes, error scenarios). Report bugs clearly in Jira (steps to reproduce, expected vs actual, evidence). Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Design, and Support. Validate integrations with external systems (payment gateways, third-party services, authentication). Maintain clear QA documentation and acceptance criteria. Propose improvements to testing processes, coverage, and team efficiency.
What You Bring 2+ years of experience in Functional QA (mobile and/or web).
Functional testing and QA cycles Testing on real mobile devices + distribution tools (TestFlight, etc.) API testing with Postman / Swagger Agile methodologies (Scrum) Jira for requirements and bug tracking Basic GitHub workflows
