Role Overview We are seeking a Gen AI Software Engineer to join Inktel’s AI team and contribute to ongoing BPO and contact center AI projects. This role is ideal for a motivated, creative problem-solver who thrives on building practical, enterprise-level AI solutions. You will collaborate with a small, dynamic team on projects ranging from voice AI agents to backend automation, with flexibility across tech stacks. This is a full-time, long-term position with no fixed end date, offering the opportunity to grow with the company and make a tangible impact on multiple AI-driven initiatives. Responsibilities Design and implement Gen AI solutions for voice agents, backend automation, and other efficiency-driven projects. Research, prototype, and integrate existing AI tools and frameworks to solve business problems. Build solutions that are scalable, secure, and enterprise-ready. Collaborate with the core team (John and Diana) while maintaining the ability to work independently with minimal oversight. Adapt across projects, applying creative thinking and hands-on execution to diverse challenges. 4+ years as a backend software engineer preferably working with Python. Proven experience working with AI-driven solutions (focus on implementation, not research). Hands-on experience with enterprise level projects using scalable and secure technologies. Ability to rapidly research, evaluate, and integrate new tools and technologies. Strong understanding of GenAI trends and tools. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to “hold your own” in a small, dynamic team. Hunger to learn, impact and grow.
