Super Soccer Stars has been in the youth soccer business for over 22 years and have been recognized as the largest operating program in the US. Chicago North Shore and Barrington is a new Super Soccer Stars franchise that is looking for initial leadership to support its growth.
We’re looking for an energetic, hands-on General Manager to help grow and manage Super Soccer Stars programs in the community. You’ll wear many hats: building partnerships with schools, parks, and community centers; coaching, recruiting and training new coaches; and ensuring smooth operations across schedules and staff. This is a great opportunity for someone with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude, who loves both working with children and driving program growth, and who can seamlessly switch between selling classes to school program directors onsite and managing staff and schedules behind the scenes.
Grow the Game
Coach the Coaches Recruit, schedule, and support local staff with a focus on reliable coverage. Act as the go-to person for coaches on scheduling, feedback, and last-minute adjustments. Hold regular check-ins to encourage growth, share feedback, and celebrate wins. Delight Families & Partners Uphold Super Soccer Stars’ customer service promise with fast, friendly communication. Keep families and partners informed with clear, professional updates. Resolve escalated issues quickly and with care. Keep Things Running Smoothly Track program participation and spot opportunities for growth. Monitor expenses and help leadership maintain efficient operations. Stay on top of staff scheduling, permits, and key program details. Minimum of 3+ years in a management or leadership role within a youth, retail, hospitality, or recreation environment Friendly and outgoing personality Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to stay organized including proficiency with Microsoft or Google Suite Self-motivated with strong initiative Familiarity with youth programs, sport or soccer preferred but not required Must reside in Cook County or Lake County Have a reliable, personal vehicle for transportation Make a meaningful difference by helping kids stay active, confident and connected through sports Flexible schedule Opportunity for some remote work Contribution to community; community engagement Positive team culture that values continuous improvement and excellence Performance based incentive program Company matched retirement planning Health insurance Paid time off Free programming for family
