GWA Group is now seeking a dynamic Group Financial Controller in our North Sydney office. This role will lead our finance function across financial accounting, risk management, and treasury - while championing our purpose of making life better through everyday water experiences. About the Role

As Group Financial Controller, you’ll lead a team and take ownership of:

• Statutory Reporting - ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial statements across all entities.

Management of Sustainability Reporting - support the development of reporting in line with the Accounting Standards, helping GWA deliver clear, credible disclosures as part of its broader corporate reporting.

• Risk Management - oversee the management of Enterprise Risk for the business.
• Shared Services Oversight - manage and improve finance operations across shared services.
• Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a confident and capable finance leader who can:

Lead and mentor a team Deliver high-quality financial reporting and insights to support strategic decision-making Collaborate with senior stakeholders across the business Develop and implement robust financial controls and processes Take initiative in shaping ESG reporting and sustainability disclosures Support the CFO with treasury, insurance, and business partnering activities About You Minimum 10 years’ experience in senior finance roles Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline CPA or CA qualifications would be preferred (but not essential) Strong technical accounting and reporting skills Proven leadership and stakeholder engagement capabilities A proactive mindset and interest in ESG and sustainability reporting Why join us?
