Role Overview The Head of Legal will serve as the company’s key legal authority and strategic business partner to the CEO and executive leadership. This role will oversee all legal, compliance, and regulatory affairs across Traffic Label’s operations, supporting business growth while ensuring robust governance and risk management. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all legal matters across the organisation, including commercial contracts, corporate governance, employment law, IP, and regulatory compliance. Advise the CEO and leadership team on legal strategy, risk management, and corporate structure within multiple European jurisdictions. Draft, review, and negotiate high-value agreements with suppliers, partners, and affiliates. Ensure compliance with applicable licensing, gaming, advertising, and data protection regulations (including GDPR). Oversee relationships with external counsel and regulators, managing legal budgets effectively. Support strategic initiatives such as M&A, joint ventures, and new market entries. Develop internal policies and training frameworks to maintain compliance and ethical standards. Monitor emerging legislation and regulatory developments impacting the business. Requirements Qualified lawyer with at least 8–10 years of post-qualification experience, ideally across digital, media, or iGaming sectors. Strong understanding of commercial, corporate, and regulatory law within the EU and UK. Proven experience advising executive leadership and managing complex, multi-jurisdictional matters. Demonstrated ability to balance legal risk with commercial pragmatism. Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Self-driven, organised, and comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, remote-first environment. Experience leading or mentoring a small team is advantageous.
