As part of our continued expansion in Europe, we are seeking an experienced HR Manager – Europe to lead human resources activities for our regional offices and employees from our Thessaloniki base. The HR Manager – Europe will manage all aspects of human resources for Vinmar’s European operations. This includes overseeing HR strategy, employee relations, compliance, and organizational development, while serving as a trusted business partner to regional and global leadership. This role combines strategic responsibility for HR initiatives across Europe with hands-on operational management for the Thessaloniki office.
HR Leadership & Strategy
Identify training and development needs across European teams and coordinate learning programs. Partner with leaders to develop succession and career development plans. Compensation, Benefits & HR Operations Manage compensation and benefits programs in coordination with Finance and external vendors. Ensure compliance with local market practices while maintaining internal equity and alignment with global policies. Oversee HR administration, records management, and accurate contracts for European employees. Compliance & Policy Ensure full compliance with European and local employment laws, regulations, GDPR, and Ergani Time-tracking. Maintain and update local HR policies, handbooks, and procedures in line with global standards. Partner with Legal and Compliance teams to support audits and ensure adherence to Vinmar’s ethical and compliance frameworks. · Minimum of 15+ years of human resources experience throughout Europe. · Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred). · Strong knowledge of European employment legislation, particularly Greece and at least one other EU country. · Proven ability to manage HR operations across multiple European countries. · Fluent in English and Greek (additional European languages are a plus). · Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
