About the role We are looking for an IT Specialist to play a crucial role in overseeing the IT infrastructure and operations. You will be part of the Information Technology and Cybersecurity team, responsible for maintaining our Information Security Management System (ISMS) and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and maintain the IT systems, networks, and applications, while also providing support to users, clients, and providers.

As an IT Specialist, you will:

Manage and maintain the company's IT systems, networks, and applications, ensuring they function properly and securely; Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to employees, clients, and providers; Collaborate with external providers to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and security measures, while also managing relationships with vendors and service providers; Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to enhance security and efficiency, in alignment with regulatory requirements; Monitor IT performance and security metrics, identifying and addressing any vulnerabilities or risks; Stay up-to-date with IT trends and technologies, making recommendations for upgrades or enhancements to improve the company's IT infrastructure;

• Train and educate employees on IT best practices and security awareness.

About you

To be considered for the role, here are the skills we're looking for:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Professional Course (CET) in one of those areas: Cybersecurity, Information Technology Systems or Networking; Strong understanding of IT systems, networks, and applications; Familiarity with cloud computing principles and architectures is a plus; Awareness of the importance of security in IT operations; Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with different teams across the organisation; Fluent in Portuguese; Proficient in English, both written and spoken;

• Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
