Java Developer - Mid Level

Pax2Pay's sister company Paxport Group UK is recruiting Java Developers Java Developer - Mid Level Hybrid Role - Bristol, UK office. Reporting to: Engineering Manager (with functional oversight from Head of Delivery) Overview Paxport is a growing travel tech company transforming the digital travel experience. We provide innovative, API-first solutions for airlines and travel resellers. As a Mid level developer we value your experience; are you keen to learn and progress? At a minimum you should have demonstrable experience writing Java in a business, academic, or open source environment; ideally in relation to HTTP APIs. Being a small team working in an agile environment you will directly influence the evolution of our products. We’re heavily focused on aggregating APIs; both designing our own and integrating those offered by suppliers (airlines etc). We also love aggregating data; importing / exporting and all steps in between. Authority Mid Level

Experience with our stack is beneficial, this includes:

Java 8+. Kubernetes / GKE.

• Google Cloud Platform.
• Spring Boot & Batch.
• Postgres, Redis, BigQuery, and Firestore.
• Advantageous Skills and Experience
• Familiarity within the travel industry.

Competencies

• Minimum of 2 years professional Java development experience
• A sense of ownership, you should care how your code choices affect our customers.

Code review and static code quality analysis standards met.
