    Job Summary

    Reporting to the Director of Sales for Grocery/Natural, this role is key to Martinelli’s growth in the Midwest Region of the U.S. The national account manager will focus on expanding business with key retailers of Kroger, HEB, as well as regional accounts and distributors in the Midwest & Texas. Key responsibilities include hitting sales targets, increasing market share, and driving strategies around pricing, shelving & merchandising.

    Manage and grow business relationships with key customers, brokers, and internal teams to drive sales and profit for S. Martinelli & Co. products.

    Job Functions

    • Customer & Business Management: Build relationships, lead sales planning and negotiations, manage day-to-day operations, and ensure customer needs are met.
    • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and brokers to execute plans and meet goals.
    • Analytics & Planning: Analyze data to shape strategy, manage forecasts and promotions, and report insights to leadership.
    • Cross-Functional Work: Coordinate across departments to improve processes, align on priorities, and drive results.

    Job Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.
    • Experience with major regional retailers (e.g., Kroger, HEB).
    • Strong analytical and communication skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage projects efficiently.

    Upon meeting eligibility requirements, the Company offers the following: health insurance coverage, LTD, 401(k) profit share contributions, paid sick leave, paid vacation leave, and eight (8) paid holidays per year. Eligible employees may also make 401(k) elective deferral contributions and may elect a co-pay plan for health insurance coverage for eligible dependents.
