    This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Manager, Provider Scheduling (Remote) in the United States. In this role, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for managing physician and advanced practice provider schedules across multiple specialties and sites of care. You will drive operational efficiency, optimize provider coverage, and ensure timely, accurate scheduling that supports quality healthcare delivery. Collaborating closely with cross-functional leaders, you will identify opportunities to enhance processes, reduce costs, and improve clinical outcomes. The ideal candidate is strategic, data-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced, fully remote environment while developing and mentoring a team to exceed performance goals. \n

    Accountabilities

    • Lead and manage a team responsible for generating and posting provider schedules across all sites of care, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
    • Identify and implement improvements in scheduling processes to enhance clinical quality, reduce gaps, and control costs.
    • Maintain real-time schedule updates and oversee facility-specific physician panel creation.
    • Prepare coverage summaries, progress reports, and performance metrics for leadership.
    • Handle escalations and coordinate with management to resolve coverage and operational issues.
    • Collaborate with technology and operational teams to optimize scheduling tools and share best practices.
    • Coach, mentor, and develop team members, managing performance, payroll, and administrative functions.
    • Ensure compliance with policies and drive accountability across scheduling operations.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
    • 5+ years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in physician scheduling or workforce management.
    • Prior management or team leadership experience preferred.
    • Experience with Salesforce (AppExchange, Reporting, List View) preferred.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Excellent organization, project management, and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced remote environment.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
    • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and make data-informed decisions.
    • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a high-growth, fully remote organization.
