Responsibilities The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment. Overall design of HVAC systems and deliverables, including concept design, schematic design, design development, construction design/documentation (including technical specifications, BOQ, schedules and drawings). Designing complete HVAC distribution systems to current legislation and codes of practice of various types of buildings based on client requirements and guidelines. Working independently on various HVAC calculations, design layouts/schematic markups as per project requirements. Communicating regularly with clients and taking on HVAC design responsibilities for Industrial, manufacturing, commercial, residential, retail, laboratories, and hospitals buildings. Understanding local codes and standards of project locations and utilizing latest leading industry software. Assisting the team to prepare HVAC design documentation and calculation sheets. Helping subordinates/junior engineers with HVAC design modelling using Revit, AutoCAD. Taking on a leadership role with the potential of growing a team reporting to them. Qualifications
Experience in creating duct layouts, pipe layouts, mechanical rooms & sections, air riser diagrams, water riser diagrams, and refrigerant riser diagrams, as well as checking other details and creating equipment schedules, creating plan notes, controls by using Revit/AutoCAD.
Experience in Studying Architectural / Structural Drawings & Details. Willingness to work in evening hours to facilitate communication with teams in the USA. Enthusiastic and capable of performing well under pressure.
