They’re looking for an Applications Underwriter who can take incomplete tenant files, clean them up, verify every detail, and deliver professional, approval-ready submissions that keep leases moving without delays. If you love structure, accuracy, and being the person who brings order to chaos — this role was built for you What You’ll Do Review incoming tenant applications and confirm every required document is present and accurate Verify income, rent history, identity, and employment details for consistency Spot missing or unclear information and request documents quickly and professionally Build clear Underwriting Summaries that outline risk, approval logic, and next steps Communicate with applicants, guarantors, and agents through phone, email, and Zoom Manage multi-roommate applications and shared documentation workflows Edit leases, forms, and PDFs using Adobe Acrobat Maintain organized digital records and update status trackers in real time Use Excel for reporting and assist with basic invoicing in QuickBooks Ensure every file meets internal standards before moving to the leasing team What You Bring 3+ years in underwriting, financial review, leasing coordination, or similar admin roles Strong attention to detail — you see what most people miss Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Excel, and basic QuickBooks Excellent written and spoken English; professional and confident on calls and Zoom Comfortable reviewing numbers, income docs, and verification logic Able to manage multiple applications at once without dropping details Self-directed, organized, and accountable — no micromanagement needed Why This Role Matters
