Nursing Clinical Instructor (1099 Contractor)

About the Role We are seeking an experienced nurse educator to deliver live instruction to nursing students preparing for licensure and certification exams. You will facilitate tutoring sessions, lectures, webinars, and case studies using Archer-provided content. This role is strictly instructional and limited in scope to live delivery and learner engagement.

Employment Type: 1099 Contractor Rate: $55.00-$60.00 per hour Contract: 10 hours per week Location: Must be US-based; Fully Remote

What you'll do Live Instruction Delivery

Provide engaging, accurate instruction through the following formats:

1:1 and small-group tutoring sessions Weekly live lectures Webinars (free and paid) Case study walkthroughs and exam-style simulations Intense Prep sessions Student feedback videos

• Use Archer Pulse–provided instructional materials (slides, outlines, tools).
• Ensure all instruction aligns with current licensure and certification exam blueprints (e.g., NCLEX-RN, NCLEX-PN).
• Learner Engagement (In Scope)
• Create an inclusive, supportive learning environment during live sessions.

Respond to student questions clearly and concisely in real time. Encourage participation and help build student confidence in exam preparation. Instructional Professionalism (In Scope) Adhere to Archer Pulse’s established teaching frameworks, tone, and delivery expectations. Accept coaching and feedback in support of instructional consistency and professional growth. About you

Required:

Active RN license with a minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience Demonstrated teaching or tutoring experience with pre-licensure nursing students (e.g., NCLEX prep, nursing school instruction) Ability to lead live instruction via Zoom or similar platforms Professional presence and excellent verbal communication skills

Preferred:

Familiarity with the NCLEX-RN/PN structure and Next Gen NCLEX content Experience delivering live nursing education in webinar or group formats Ability to teach using pre-developed slide decks and structured outlines
