We’re looking for a proactive Paralegal to join our Legal Team and provide essential support across a variety of legal matters. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong interest in technology and a proactive approach to supporting legal operations. In the role you will play an essential part in advising the business on legal matters, including assisting with all aspects of contracting and ensuring compliance across a range of matters, as well as assisting the Legal Team with complex legal queries. This is an exciting opportunity for someone detail-oriented and eager to work on diverse projects in a fast-paced environment. WHAT YOU’LL DO (Duties) Work on general legal queries with assistance from the Legal Team where needed, including contract drafting and negotiation (for example non-disclosure and data processing agreements) as well as regulatory and compliance matters, within defined company frameworks. Assist the Legal Team with legal queries, including partnering with the Legal Team on complex legal matters which may include matters relating to subsidy control, personal data and procurement law. Conducting legal research and summarising findings. Maintain and organise legal files, databases, document management systems, and trackers. Coordinate signatures and approvals for legal documents in line with specified company frameworks. Assist with developing policies, procedures, guidance, and legal training materials. Law Degree / Graduate Diploma in Law (or equivalent) in English law and prior experience in a paralegal or legal support role is essential. CILEX qualification is desirable. Self- Confident, proactive and organised, with strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks independently or as part of a team. An excellent communicator, demonstrating clear written and verbal skills alongside critical thinking and problem-solving ability. High level of attention to detail and accuracy, detail-oriented. Proficiency in general office software, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. High level of discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive legal matters . Driven and determined, excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills with the ability to give specialist advice. Risk Management and Incident Management Skills.
