Principal Laravel Engineer (PRPLE1125)- Client Services

PRIORITY, one of the largest and fastest growing Management and IT consulting firms in Greece is currently seeking to hire a highly skilled and experienced Principal Laravel Engineer on behalf of a valued client in the field of cybersecurity. Please note that this is a fully remote opportunity, and we welcome candidates from anywhere in Europe. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced applications using the Laravel framework. The position will focus predominantly on backend development; however, a willingness to engage in full-stack responsibilities is considered a strong advantage. Key Responsibilities Design and develop high-quality web applications using the Laravel framework. Lead the entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post-launch support. Refactor, optimize and improve the existing codebase for maintenance and scale. Use test-driven development (TDD) methodologies to ensure code quality and application performance. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Work closely with the product team to define feature specifications and build the next generation of products leveraging frameworks such as Laravel. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+years of experience in web development, with a minimum of 3 years specifically in Laravel framework. Strong knowledge of PHP and other web development technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Experience with Vue.js is considered a plus. Experience with SQL databases, version control tools (e.g., Git), and web services (REST/SOAP). Proficient understanding of code versioning tools and continuous integration. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
