About the Product Designer role... SiteMinder’s Experience Design team is on a quest to make every hotelier’s job easier and their business more profitable. To help us get there, we’re hiring a Product Designer to join our team and evolve our key product experiences, including our mobile apps and Smart Platform. So, if you love solving complex problems with human-centred design and technology, keep reading! Working with a high-performing product team, this role will play an integral part in designing the future of SiteMinder's hotel commerce platform, across both mobile and desktop. You will be crafting the foundation for the user experience, on which other teams will build their products.
Your UX mission is to unify our powerful tools into a single, elegant experience. You will tackle our customers' most pressing challenges: simplifying complex workflows, helping them make smarter revenue decisions, and ultimately giving them back time to focus on what they do best—creating amazing guest experiences. What you will do... Creating high fidelity designs (in Figma), journey maps, logic flows, and design concepts Creating prototypes in Figma but also using other methods such as hand-coded HTML and AI ‘vibe coding’ Conducting usability testing to evaluate designs Conducting user research to understand needs and behaviour, as well as opportunities for our product(s) Collaborating closely with engineers: co-designing solutions, sharing insights/knowledge, conducting design QA and negotiating outcomes. Participating in, or leading, workshops and design sprints Working with the Senior and Lead designers and taking feedback and coaching from them What you have... A natural problem solver A good collaborator Agile/adaptable Comfortable with ambiguity Experienced in using a design system Understanding of Human interface guidelines and material design Experienced in a SaaS product context Experienced in Native Mobile design and Experiences is a plus Experienced in the hotel or travel industry is a plus Our Perks & Benefits…
