Python Engineer - Contract - Inside IR35

We’re gearing up for an exciting new project launching in the next couple of weeks, and we’re looking for skilled Python Engineers to join our team on a contract basis (Inside IR35). Given the quick turnaround, we’re especially keen to hear from candidates who are immediately available or have a short notice period. Essential Behaviours These are the most important things to us, we can teach skills, but behaviours are much harder to teach. A passion for engineering and a desire to keep learning A focus on writing clear, concise code that is easy to maintain An ability to be pragmatic when required and avoid unnecessary “gold-plating” An understanding that quality is everyone’s responsibility and a strong desire to test your own code Comfortable working with others in pairing or mobbing scenarios A good communicator who shares our values of openness and respect Essential skills Experienced in Python specifically Django framework Experience with Next Js and Typescript with tailwind Experience designing and writing APIs, especially REST APIs Experience building and maintaining CI/CD via GitHub Actions pipelines Experience working with AWS Experienced in Terraform Desirable skills These are the little bit extra, cherry-on-top skills that will help you stand out. Experience working in a technology or consulting company.
