Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a vendor to support engineering teams in meeting Responsible AI Standard by performing RAI reviews and completing Impact Assessments for AI-driven features and experiences. This role ensures that AI systems are evaluated for fairness, transparency, safety, and compliance before release.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Conduct Responsible AI Impact Assessments for Windows features and services, following RAI Standard templates and guidelines.
• Identify stakeholders, benefits, potential harms, and mitigations for AI systems, including sensitive use cases.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams (PMs, engineers, designers, data scientists) to gather system details and ensure comprehensive reviews.
• Document prioritized issues, risk ratings, and mitigation strategies in alignment with compliance requirements.
• Review and validate supplementary materials such as demos, specs, and architecture diagrams for completeness.
• Ensure sign-off processes with RAI Champs and other required stakeholders are completed before advancing to new release stages.
• Maintain version control and update assessments annually or when new intended uses are added.
• Provide guidance on incident response planning for RAI issues during rollout.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong understanding of Responsible AI principles, ethical AI frameworks, and compliance standards.
• Experience with impact assessment methodologies and risk analysis for AI systems. Ability to work with technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and system specs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Windows ecosystem and AI-driven features is a plus. AIGP, CIPM certifications are highly desired.
• Preferred prior experience in AI governance, privacy compliance, or regulatory assessments.
• Preferrd sxposure to Microsoft’s RAI processes or similar enterprise standards.
